An anonymous dark data/dark money campaign discovered on Facebook, clearly seeking to influence Brexit debate while breaking GDPR. New evidence published by @CommonsCMS  https://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/digital-culture-media-and-sport-committee/news/fake-news-89up-evidence-17-19/ ‚Ķ

Coverage and implications of this untraceable and unlawful foreign influence campaign using Facebook targeting over the Brexit controversy in the UK (remember the UK‚Äôs ICO is fining Facebook for data protection violations from Cambridge Analytica scandal)  https://nyti.ms/2QWEtXK

*actually unclear if this campaign is foreign or domestic…but only a foreign entity would think they could get away with these shenanigans on jurisdiction tomfoolery.

The final ICO report could drop anytime this month. Could be an October surprise of sorts.
