Disgustingly brazen job ad: “Starlight Group is looking for... developers that can endure immense work pressure and be very dependable. The day to day task are anticipated to require around 60h/wk for 5+ years”. It’s a sick culture that doesn’t shun this.  https://jobs.github.com/positions/8bd68692-8c5e-11e8-854c-6defee4eaf30

Working death-march hours for FIVE YEARS is going to do materially damage to your health and relationships. Damage that may well take years to recover from. Inflicting such pain PER COMPANY POLICY is sadistic (not to mention counterproductive).

Usually companies who want to abuse workers like this do not exactly advertise this fact. If a company is this comfortable with their written expectations, imagine how much of a hellhole all the unwritten expectations will be! 💀

In fact, I’d implore @github not to allow their job board to be used for this kind of abusive ads. There’s no need to lend a platform to companies like this.
