1/ It's easy to assume something/someone is an overnight success, but that's because we don't see what happens behind the scenes. I saw two great tweets over the weekend that illustrate this:

2/ @HarryStebbings launched the @twentyminutevc podcast a few years ago & grew it to 100k+ listeners. You may not think a 20-minute podcast requires a lot of work, but in fact each episode takes 10 hours of prep. Last year Harry was doing ~6 episodes/week.

3/ @Shpigford launched @Baremetrics a few years ago and grew it to $100k/mo in revenue. What a lucky break! Except if you check out the tweet below, you'll see that Josh had launched 50+ projects over a decade before the "overnight success."

4/ I think these are a good reminder that the more determined you are and the more things you try, the more likely you are to be "lucky."
