Facebook's Ad Manager was down for 8 hours yesterday — at the height of election season. As they're approaching a Newsfeed drop-off, this is the time when they need to magnify ad volume, but their tools are crumbling.  https://digiday.com/marketing/facebook-ads-manager-inconsistent/

Snap Ads Manager is one of the reason's I'm very optimistic about the company. The quality of ad tools trickles down into the bottom-line; enables premium CPMs, and retains users.

The story of Ads Manager on mobile says a lot about Facebook's internal considerations surrounding it. It became their React Native sandbox because the team was understaffed — that is visible in the quality.  https://code.fb.com/developer-tools/react-native-for-android-how-we-built-the-first-cross-platform-react-native-app/

Finally, a larger focus on this. Facebook is simply bad at operating their core business, Ads Manager.  https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-08-08/facebook-ad-network-outages-baffling-frustrated-clients
