"Potential clues to the future path of Ford can be provided partly by Facebook.. using customers' personal information to earn billions... We already know and have data on our customers; they trust us... We know what people make" 💀 https://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/2018/11/13/ford-motor-credit-data-new-revenue/1967077002/

You know that the world is fucked when companies like Ford look at Facebook with envy and see their customers as data points that can be packaged and sold. Truly a despicable aspiration.

If The Onion had published an article under the headline "Ford Looks Enviously At Facebook; Hopes To Spy On Drivers, Sell The Data To Become Profitable", we would have shook our head in disbelief. Facebook is corrupting not just society but the foundation of commerce.
