Shameful for the @UKlabour front bench that at a point in history where serious leadership and opposition to the Govt is perhaps most needed, their piss-poor Brexit policy of Unobtainium allows @SteveBarclay and other Tories to correctly rip it apart as fantasy.
As a bare minimum, a policy should be in principle achievable and, politically speaking, you should be able to defend it honestly against opponents' criticism. Handing the Govt the opportunity to criticise an obviously unachievable policy as unachievable is a dreadful error.
As I've said before, the people are not children. They can handle the truth - either that the deal you will get may be better than the one the Govt will, but will still be worse than now and cost us, or that Brexit is a busted flush that should be nixed - so just be honest.
It's so disappointing, to counter the Govt's deliberate misleading of people and selling of Unicorns with more of the same. Counter the dishonesty with honesty though, and, ultimately, credibility, respect and trust will rightly follow.
