1/ has anyone tried creating a wifi access point that accepts crypto? plug it in and it makes you money

2/ most apartments (or dense housing) you're in range of dozens of access points, but each one is password protected, and probably at 1% utilization averaged throughout the week

3/ it would need some way to debit your crypto wallet (perhaps some pre-funded account), to be truly seamless, and may require integration with lots of low level OS stuff or firmware, tricky but doable

4/ whatever protocol hotels use to give you with a paywall would be a good v1 (not 100% seamless but at least you could still connect without sharing your credit card with a stranger) - the native currency of the internet, powering wifi access points, seems like it will happen

5/ lots of little details to get right, but this is how value gets created for someone tenacious enough
