Employees have told me that managers obsesses about their bonuses, and look for short-term projects that will get them to hit a certain metric every three months. So, a good-case scenario is that this inspires more thinking about what can be done quarter to quarter
A bad-case scenario is that these projects themselves have nasty unintended consequences! Anyway, I’m writing more about this today, would love to hear your thoughts 🙏
