Days before fatally shooting his ex-wife, a Pennsylvania man passed a background check at a gun shop and walked out with an AR-15. The gunman was under a protection-from-abuse order that lapsed in September. While the order was active, he couldn’t legally own guns. In light of this domestic gun violence tragedy, county officials where the shooting took place are calling on Pennsylvania lawmakers to pass a Red Flag law.
