Not to be pedantic, but we don't need to revisit why. We know why. We know what there is to know. The question now is: is it possible to hold powerful people in America accountable?

I'm pedantic on this point b/c a lot of folks in the media & even on the left have been pretending that the core of all this is the investigation, the uncovering of wrongdoing. It's not. There's already enough wrongdoing exposed to justify action, ten times over. We *know*.

It's almost comforting to think it's about exposing more info. At least we know how to do that. But what do we do when we have all the info necessary and simply... can't act? That's the uncomfortable conversation that needs having. No info/revelation will ever settle this.
