confession: 3.5 years ago when i sat down to build out honeyinfra, i wrestled with whether to learn and use docker+kubernetes or boring old ASGs.
(i chose boring, and never regretted it.)
if i were cynical, i might say k8s was make-work for infra teams (at companies who might not /need/ infra teams if they didn't run k8s).
yes -- some people really need do k8s. and if you need it you'll know. if you're asking the question, you don't.
