Just about the only person Attorney General Bill Barr wouldn't attack under oath was Oleg Deripaska, a criminal known universally as a Kremlin agent.
1/ When Senator Sasse (R-NE) asked Barr to speak about Deripaska—the Putin agent the Trump campaign secretly gave proprietary polling data to as the Kremlin was trying to target American voters for disinformation—Barr was suddenly speechless. He wouldn't answer Sasse's questions.
2/ Compare that to Barr's willingness to speak about *investigating the FBI* for "spying." *That* was a subject he felt on solid ground over—even though as our chief law enforcement officer, he should feel the threat from Russia is infinitely greater than the threat from the FBI.
