Dear @SpeakerPelosi: if you’re going to bet everything on 2020, you must do more to secure our elections, including subpoenaing ES&S & other vendors to disclose where they installed remote access software & cellular modems & publicly demanding their removal. @PhilaController 1/

I copied @PhilaController bc she’s the ONLY government leader of which I’m aware who has taken the necessary step to subpoena documents re: the dangerous new voting systems from ES&S that some jurisdictions, including @PhillyVotes, insist on buying. She needs your support. 2/

And whether you can PASS meaningful election-security legislation or not, you can & must WARN the public of these horrible new systems & the vendors’ installation of dangerous remote access software & wireless modems. Meaningful change is impossible if people are uninformed. 3/

“New ‘Hybrid’ voting system can change [machine-marked] paper ballot after it is cast. Paper ballots are safe only if marked by hand, not by machine.” #HandMarkedPaperBallots

5/ Warn the public now about the dangers of new “Hybrid” barcode voting systems like the ES&S ExpressVote XL, the most popular version, which many jurisdictions are choosing right now!! #EXPELtheXL

6/ Compel vendors to disclose where they installed remote access software & publicly insist that they remove it!

7/ Ditto: re: the cellular modems!
