The oil companies knew exactly what they were doing to the planet, so they lied to us and did it anyway. For a profit.

Some executives made a calculation that funding climate denial would be good for revenue because if we knew what they were doing to us, we would stop them. Let’s make them right about that last part, at least.

If you’re in your mid-30s or younger, the connection between fossil fuels and climate change has been studied, plotted, and well understood for your entire life. And the oil companies have been knowingly warming the planet every day you’ve been alive, and getting rich off it.
