-8:29 PM local time: a rocket launched toward the Green Zone and the vicinity of the U.S Embassy from (Jisr al Amana ) neighborhood in Baghdad
-Iraqi security forces say Katyusha rocket landed in IZ, no casualties
-Launch location the Amana bridge in Baghdad

-AFP: Katyusha rocket crashes into Baghdad Green Zone: security services
-Security source to BBC: Katyusha rocket hit abandoned building in Baghdad’s Green Zone. Close to the US embassy. Rocket fired from eastern Baghdad.

A few days ago, #Iran's IRGC Quds Force chief Qassem Soleimani met with leaders of the Iraqi Hashd al-Shabi (Popular Mobilazation Forces - PMF), headed by Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

"... Iraq military spokesman (said) a Katyusha rocket fell near the statue of the Unknown Soldier, less than a mile from the U.S. Embassy..."

Iraqi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Rasoul told The Associated Press that a Katyusha rocket fell near the statue of the Unknown Soldier, less than a mile from the U.S. Embassy.

"The area is home to Iran-backed Shiite militias."

Following tonight's rocket attack in #Baghdad, U.S. President Donald Trump just tweeted:
"If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran. Never threaten the United States again!"
