Deutsche case wrinkle: All of the parties want to pause further proceedings until the Second Circuit appeal is resolved.

Judge Ramos agrees, noting that, if his order is affirmed, the remainder of the case “may become moot.”

Remember: Ramos already ruled on the motion for a preliminary injunction that Trump’s team did not present any serious legal questions.

That’s not likely to change on a motion for a permanent injunction, if the Second Circuit affirms. @CourthouseNews

There’s another factor that can make further proceedings moot: Deutsche has said it is complying with the court’s order as to the subpoenas.
