More than 800 people showed up to a town hall to both praise and berate the only Republican member of Congress who has called for impeachment proceedings against President Trump.  https://nbcnews.to/2XbHyqy

One woman stood to tell Rep. Amash that she logged countless hours volunteering for his first congressional campaign, but has since changed her opinion of him. “You have spent the last two years failing to do your job,” she said, while defending President Trump.

“I was surprised to hear there was anything negative in the Mueller report at all about Pres. Trump. I hadn’t heard that before," a woman said. "I’ve mainly listened to conservative news and I hadn’t heard anything negative about that report and Pres. Trump has been exonerated."

Another Republican who has supported Amash said she was confused by his position, but after hearing him speak, she doesn't “have a problem proceeding with" impeachment. “Though in the back of my mind, I know it is not going to pass the Senate most likely.”  https://nbcnews.to/2WB51nS
