Charity Majors @mipsytipsy CTO @honeycombio, ex-Parse, Facebook, Linden Lab; cowrote Database Reliability Engineering; loves whiskey, rainbows. I test in production and so do you. πŸŒˆπŸ–€ Jun. 14, 2019 1 min read

as usual, liz's recap is a clear and crispy version of my talk, and you should read it if you're intrigued by the idea of testing in production.

(but I've still got the edge on rainbows muahaha πŸŒˆπŸŒ·πŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ§‘β€οΈπŸŒΈπŸŒŸπŸŒˆ)

favorite moment of this afternoon was afterwards, when a few -- multiple! -- people with formal security and QA backgrounds came up and told me even MORE reasons to urge testing in prod. πŸ€—πŸ₯°

second favorite moment has to be at the end when I was marveling over my own moderation and self-restraint, and @lizthegrey piped up "I'm a good influence!" sotto voce, front and center. 🀣πŸ₯³

also I finally got to meet @dbsmasher, finally putting to rest long speculation that we are a single person. and holy shitballs did you see how our booth was packed five deep all week?!? damn we have come a *ways* this year.

happy #velocityconf everybody, see you next year ☺️
