Trump is compromised by foreign powers; repeatedly leaks classified intel to our enemies; endangers U.S. interests.

Congress won't protect national security.

If the Pentagon—on these facts—fed Trump more intel to leak, Americans would rightly say, "What the f*ck are you doing?"

1/ As Greenwald well knows, the NYT wrote that the USIC believes Trump would *leak sensitive military information to our enemies*—which is one way of saying that he's compromised. It's in *that* context that the USIC was worried Trump would "countermand" national security policy.

2/ "Deep state" theory—which Greenwald plays footsie with—doesn't hold that the USIC suddenly developed a deep state once Trump leaked classified intel to the Russians in the Oval. It says the deep state has acted with impunity for decades. How is *this* incident proof of *that*?
