One of my friends just became a US citizen so I’m about to attempt to mark the occasion with a traditional jello salad

I’m also making this corn pudding which i know WILL be good

The corn pudding:
1/2 cup melted butter
1 jiffy corn muffin mix
1 can creamed corn (undrained)
1 can regular corn (undrained)
8oz sour cream
Mix and bake at 350 for at least 30 min

It set! It’s faintly green - that’s how you know it’s a salad!

And the corn pudding is done too! That’s a wrap!

Verdict: the jello salad served its purpose as a novelty, but was ultimately unpopular. the corn pudding, however, disappeared immediately.

now, what to make for 4th of july?
