Last week, I got to spend some quality time with @lynnetye (of http://keyvalues.com ) and @csallen (of http://indiehackers.com ). First off, they're awesome people and I hope we get to be friends for a very long time to come. And second... I love who they're inspiring & how.
We talked about being surrounded by entrepreneurs whose mentality is "become a billionaire or kill the company trying", AKA "Silicon Valley startup culture."
But each of us are trying to change that. It shouldn't be the only model in tech startup world. There's room for more.
Courtland's @IndieHackers is connecting & empowering founders to follow a different path.
Lynne's @keyvaluesio is a great model for what a non-venture-backed company can be (& an alternative to the classic post-YC path)
