I was in the mood to watch The Raven again, the rather silly Edgar Allan Poe murder mystery starring John Cusack, but notice it's now gone from Netflix. Digital distribution and streaming ideally should make watching movies more accessible, but thanks to capitalism, it's... This.
So many fractured subscription services, unclear as to who has what because it's all so obfuscated, looking to nickel and dime customers who won't notice the mounting monthly subscription fees, and it's the very opposite of accessible because this is how it's intended to work.
We had a good thing for a while, however brief.
