It's confirmed. Damn, Isakson is resigning due to poor health

Georgia last had a Senate special election concurrent with the 2000 general election, when Democrat Zell Miller beat Republican Mack Mattingly. But that was officially a nonpartisan contest. Based on my reading of Georgia law, the #GAsen special election for GOP Sen.
