In the name of cutting down on gluttonous data collection, we've dumped the requirement to enter an email address in order to get the free PDF of our 2006 book Getting Real. I always hated that shit.  https://basecamp.com/books/getting-real

The practice of extortion an email address from someone for a "free gift" is sleazy and should just die. If you have a mailing list worth signing up for, you don't need to bribe people with trinkets or PDFs.

Also, Getting real might be over 13 years old, but it still holds up. This is some of our best, sharpest writing ever. I'm proud of that book. And it's yours! For free!
