Poll by @BritainThinks for @ft today suggests:

Voters prefer Boris Johnson to Jeremy Corbyn by 2:1

Only 10% of respondents believe Corbyn would be the “best to unite the country”, against 21% for Johnson.

The preferred choice for PM: “Don’t know.”

meanwhile the people of Reading were asked (in separate focus group) for examples of good leaders:
