Israelis went to the polls today for a national election that pits Netanyahu against former military chief Benny Gantz.

Turnout by late afternoon was slightly higher than the last vote, with more than 6.3 million voters eligible.  https://lat.ms/2kFVcEz

Netanyahu has appeared to falter in his quest for a new term in office, with most exit polls giving a slight edge to Benny Gantz.
