The most discomforting fact—if you are secular humanist or do not believe in inivisble deity—

TIME is not on your side.

Fertility rates are low amongst the former and high amongst the latter. So over time the rate of births + those indoctrinated from birth will exceed skeptics.

To leave no doubt.
I dont believe in invisible deity
Do see value in fictional stories & morality tales + bonds of traditions that coordinate masses of people—when done for good.

But far prefer world where skeptics did not believe in invisible dictators or do bad in their name.

World is basically Othello board of beliefs.

4/ Best predictor of fertility after female education rate is religiousity.
Religious reject contraception
High fertility, high retention = high growth
Mormons in US are richest growing cohort no 6m+?
Israel ultra-Orthodo were a few % of 1st grade in 1960 now 30%+
