This has to be taken out of the hands of the Dallas Police Department. #JoshuaBrown

Even if the DPD has absolutely no involvement and the people they have identified as suspects are the people involved, Mr. Brown was a witness against one of their officers. They are conflicted.

Even if they were able to investigate the case fairly and impartially, there is the appearance of bias. Just for people to feel comfortable in the investigation and outcome, they should turn the investigation over. People will always believe they were involved otherwise.

They should want people to feel the integrity of the investigation was not compromised (although their involvement from jump has done that).

A special prosecutor should also be appointed.
