What really sinks this turd of a defense is using charity as an indulgence. If working with ICE and not knowing what they use GitHub to build is so wonderful and patriotic, why do you need to soothe your guilt with gifts? Incredible disappointing, yet so very Microsoft.

It’s also a point of Big Tech realpolitik. This deal is bad for GitHub. Employees are going to hate it, their customer base, at large, will hate it. But GitHub is now Microsoft, so can’t afford to turn down gov biz, lest it sour sales of the rest of MS shit. Break. Them. Up.
