Children of Morta makes one HELL of a good first impression, so far this game is gorgeous, the narration is sublime, and the gamefeel is wonderful. And that's just after having played the tutorial level.
I'll be playing this on stream tomorrow, definitely.
But this goes to show my current predicament.
I had been looking forward to this, but because I had so many games on my plate, I unfortunately had to skip it when it came out last month (September was an unbelievable month for game releases) and I've been sorry about that.
And the thing is, there's such an absolute wealth of amazing games that I'm sure I could just pick any of the titles I was interested in, and have a fantastic game well worth my time and money. I'm tripping over amazing looking games left right and center, and it's not stopping!
There has been more great games just in the past couple of months than there has been in entire years previously. It's a really staggering situation to be in, and I am both happy to see it, and overwhelmed at the same time. A blessing and a curse.
