A part of the Ukraine story not being discussed involves Trump possibly interfering in *Ukraine's* elections in addition to the reverse. There's some evidence Giuliani, Parnas, and Fruman tried to shake down Poroshenko in January and February 2019 by dangling a Trump endorsement.

1/ By February 2019, the US embassy in Kyiv had already determined that there was a significant chance Zelensky would beat Poroshenko, perhaps in a landslide. Yet with the election just weeks away, Giuliani and his crew were trying to get Poroshenko to focus on Clinton and Biden.

2/ As I read the federal bribery statute, a president dangling an endorsement (which is an official act) in exchange for opposition research with a set market value could be yet *another* instance of impeachable and criminal bribery in *addition* to withholding U.S. military aid.
