1/ The best sentences I read this week were in an essay by Alex Iskold  https://alexiskold.net/2020/01/11/why-customer-network-is-the-next-big-thing-that-every-startup-needs-to-master/  and a tweetstorm by Andy Johns AKA @ibringtraffic.

Alex: "Contrary to what most thought, CAC (cost of acquiring a customer) didn’t go down as many D2C startups scaled." They went up.

2/ Andy Johns @ibringtraffic is a great follow if you want to understand what a "growth team" does. A must read tweetstorm from Andy starts with: "A big top of funnel doesn't mean you have product-market fit. You create your own false narrative with the big bang launch."

3/ I quote Andy Johns in one of my 25iQ posts:

"A growth team has the responsibility to measure, understand and improve the flow of users in and out of the product and business. That’s the role of growth.”

Growth is a black art that you can learn.
