Boeing senior VP Jim Chilton today, after confirming the company found a second Starliner software defect during the December flight test:

"What we wish we'd done better was software, so there's a lot of learning there."

NASA’s Doug Loverro said the second issue wasn’t disclosed because “we didn’t end up having an anomaly:”

“We found an issue and then we fixed it,” adding that “it would have been very difficult” to talk about the issue without the investigating first.

Administrator @JimBridenstine's charge to senior NASA and Boeing leaders:

"Before the phone call, I directed everybody to be as transparent as you can be."

"Never, ever, ever be afraid of the truth."
