Follow the World Health Organization's instructions to reduce your risk of infection:

1/ Frequently clean hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

2/ When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue - throw issue away immediately and wash hands.

3/ Avoid close contact with anyone that has fever and cough.

DEVELOPING: The Southern District of New York, one of the most influential federal courts in the United States, shut its doors Monday to people who have visited five of the countries hardest hit by the coronavirus epidemic within the last 14 days.

Another standing order signed by Chief SDNY Judge Colleen McMahon to take the body temperatures of all detainees scheduled to appear in court.

All of those with a temperature of or higher than 100.4 may not enter.

Reaching out to Federal Defenders of New York and the Bureau of Prisons to ask about how MCC, the prison that is next door to SDNY and has been on lockdown for more than a week, has been responding to COVID-19.
