In the category of the chirrens will save us: I put up this note on my apartment complex floor inviting folks to get on an email list in the event we needed each other during the crisis or you know, to be neighborly. Noted been up just a couple of days...
Who is responding? The kids of the folks on the floor. 12 to 16, knockin on my door saying they hot permission to give the email with these kids saying things like “We do need each other right now, I was telling my mom” “We can’t do it alone Ms. Karla”
Truly, every time I get a knock on the door, I know at this point it’s another kid getting their parent to be in community. It’s wild. The Zoomers are something else.
Gah, typos, forgive me.
