Anyone who says being a facilities-based communications services provider isn't hard has never been involved in actually operating a facilities-based communications services provider.

"Frontier announced it has entered into aa agreement with bondholders representing more than 75% of its $11B outstanding unsecured bonds. Frontier's goal is to reduce its debt by more than $10B."

People at McCaw Cellular called $1B "a unit." That was when $1B was a lot of cash.

My late friend Keith Grinstein said to me once: "The best time to be a facilities-based service provider is before you go into service since once you have customers hardware immediately starts to break and otherwise stop working." Claircom write off $1.5B.

One of the reasons I love software so much Is because it doesn't have the word "hard" embedded in it like hardware does. But sometimes selling hardware can make the distribution of software/SaaS easier.

Distribution is harder than many people imagine.
