The Q2 meeting of NASA's Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) has begun.

On today's agenda are updates on the following programs:
- ISS
- Commercial Crew
- Exploration System Development
- Human Lunar Exploration

NASA's safety panel on Demo-2:

We are aware of some technical issues remaining to be resolved before launch but the path forward appears feasible.

NASA's safety panel on Boeing Starliner:

The capsule has many issues to be solved before it is certified to fly astronauts. Re-flying the OFT mission is "not sufficient" to resolve those issues.

NASA's safety panel says the crewed lunar lander awards (HLS) are coming shortly.

NASA's safety panel will have a part 2 of its Q2 meeting next month, as members were not able to meet with Commercial Crew representatives for a more thorough update.
