The Space Foundation is hosting a webinar with the Air Force and the U.S. Space Force, titled "America’s Space Force: Building the Future Today," including:

Secretary of the Air Force Barbara Barrett
Chief of Space Operations Gen. John Raymond

Barrett: The next X-37B reusable spaceplane mission launches from Cape Canaveral in 10 days (on May 16), with "more experiments than any prior X-37B flight, including two NASA experiments."

Sec. Barrett: SpaceX Demo-2 "is really a breakthrough moment" for the United States, "but it couldn't happen without cooperation between NASA and the United States Air Force and Space Force."

Gen. Raymond: "We couldn't do this without partnerships."

Gen. Raymond: "I was on the phone yesterday" with NASA Administrator @JimBridenstine "about the event he tweeted out."

(I believe he's referring to the Apophis asteroid, not Tom Cruise)

Sec. Barrett on Space Force recruiting: "There seems to be an avalanche of applicants."
