Cowen is hosting a virtual fireside chat on "Redefining Experiential Luxury," beginning now with Virgin Galactic $SPCE CEO George Whitesides, CFO Jon Campagna and Commercial Director Stephen Attenborough.

Whitesides: "We really think of ourselves in many respects as the ultimate luxury experience."

Whitesides: The cabin of Virgin Galactic's spacecraft Unity is designed so there are "windows all over the cabin, so everybody has two windows to themselves, everybody has a window seat both above their heads and to the sides."

Attenborough: Virgin Galactic's astronaut customers will spend 4 days training and preparing at the company's facility at Spaceport America in New Mexico.

"Every step of that journey has been meticulously planned."

Attenborough: "We are very confident" that when Virgin Galactic reopens ticket sales at a higher price point than $250,000 per person that the company will be "really successful."
