COVID Update May 24: Sunday is the day when my threads are different. They are less newsy. They are less popular. But they are dedicated to the 100,000 people we’ve lost & their families and everyone that’s put themselves out to serve them. 1/

It’s the brain child of @PiperPerabo and @ASlavittsMom who believe in and encourage #thebestofus. 2/

This gives me the chills. 100,000 of them. 3/

Masks, beautiful ones too. 10/

Kids are finding stuff to do. When you’re a kid what’s better than a dump truck? 11/

Pandemics and spandex. Don’t try this at home. 12/

There’s something about seeing unbridled pride and joy. 13/

If you read & retweet nothing else or want to share something with someone who doesn’t see the impact of COVID, this may be it. 14/

I’m not sure I can exactly follow this but it I think it’s awesome.

Young people just want to party and gather in big groups. Here’s a perfect example. I mean, try again. Young people do more than party in big groups! 16/

For everyone who might not see what’s happening sleep well knowing there are 100 who care and are doing something. For 100,000 who are lost, there are millions who remember them. 17/

Yesterday I was asked to contribute to a coffee table book of spaces around the world and passages around the world. I hoped this would be hopeful, but a real reflection and a memorial. /end
