There are thousands of people marching through Park Slope right now chanting “we want justice.”

A little over an hour until NYC’s newly-imposed curfew.

Nearly a week on, these New York City protests don’t appear to be shrinking in size — if anything it might be the opposite.

Organizers of this march, I’m told, have said they’ll wrap by 8. Hard to imagine that the entirety of this mass of people will promptly go home.

Having said that, this particular demonstration was church-led and organizers are urging the crowd at Barclay’s to peacefully make their way home.

Five minutes until curfew, many of the protesters who were part of the march left but many more remain — more than a thousand I’d say, filling Flatbush Ave, chanting “fuck your curfew.”

Huge crowd marching north through Brooklyn now, cars honking.

There’s a big contingent of protesters bottled up at the base of the Manhattan bridge and another big group trying to connect with them. Police amassing as well.

With police blocking the bridge, marchers are taking side streets, turning back into Brooklyn — group is still quite large

While this contingent continues on, others are blocked up on the bridge. Follow Noah for updates
