An inadvertent admission from Trump that he was not prepared to be President of the United States, and screwed up. Even before he became POTUS, he ran uncomplicated businesses into the ground (while people like Jobs, Gates, Bezos built tech juggernauts).

This pathetic excuse (“I am doing a bad job because I don’t get how Washington works”) shouldn’t overshadow the fact that Trump ascended to the presidency largely due to a reality TV show that masked his incompetence via clever editing — fame he parlayed via his Obama birtherism.

That “booming stock market” he likes to take credit for? Partly due to successful, resilient businesses built by others — Gates, Jobs, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Dorsey, Cook, Dimon, Chenault, Blakfein, Muilenberg, Quincey — Trump could never top those people as business leaders.

His failure extends beyond Washington DC — could not get governors from his own party to curb the spread of coronavirus in their states. New cases setting records in states with Republican Governors: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma…
