Hey #MedTwitter, did you know that the movie Just Mercy, about civil rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson who spoke @AAMCtoday last year, is available to stream free online?
I wrote a set of discussion questions based on the Just Mercy to encourage folks in healthcare, especially White and other non-Black folks, to reflect on systemic racism and injustice in medicine. @FASPEnews

In addition to his legal work, Bryan Stevenson and his organization @eji_org created a museum and monument in Alabama to honor the victims of lynching. Just as monuments to confederates and racists need to come down, Black lives lost by racism need to be honored. 3/
I have learned a lot from Stevenson's work over the years and I'm glad I could engage @MedHumChat to encourage others to learn from it too. we're trying to raise $2,000 for @eji_org are more than halfway there! Consider donating if you can. 4/4 https://www.gofundme.com/f/medhumchat-for-equal-justice-initiative?utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_lico+share-sheet …
