In Oklahoma, coronavirus cases soared 250% following Trump’s June 20th in-person rally, levying a hidden tax on people in the state via quarantines that took them away from other productive work, hurting businesses. State’s unemployment systems are struggling to cope with claims.

Jurisdictions are shutting down restaurants to control COVID-19 spread but we may need to shut them down for good until we get obesity rate under 10%. Majority of meals served at US restaurants were of poor diet quality, according to a study published in The Journal of Nutrition.

“Food is now the single biggest cause of poor health in this country and that makes it the single biggest opportunity to improve health,” said Dr. Dariush Mozaffarian, senior author of the study and dean of the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University.

“The study analyzed the nutritional quality of restaurant meals using the American Heart Association’s healthy diet score…Less than 0.1% of the restaurant meals were of “ideal quality” when measured by this standard, the study found.”

Obesity is biggest COVID-19 risk factor.
