Reuters: MALAYSIA COURT SAYS EX PM NAJIB TO BE CONVICTED ON ALL CHARGES OF MONEY LAUNDERING, ABUSE OF POWER AND CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST IN 1MDB LINKED CASE
KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Reuters) - Former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak was found guilty on Tuesday on all seven corruption charges in his first trial linked to a multi-billion dollar scandal at state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
Reuters: Each of the charges carry hefty fines and jail terms of up to 15 or 20 years. Najib's lawyers are seeking a delay in sentencing. Najib has said he would appeal any decision at the federal court.
