Today in Belarus: In a desperate attempt to show he still has popular support (he doesn’t), Lukashenko is busing workers from the regions to Minsk’s Independence Square for a staged rally at noon. He’s brought in farm equipment, too.

Anti-Lukashenko opposition also plans to hold a large rally today at the same location starting at 2pm. It's going to be interesting to see how things shape up on the streets today.
