This describes 99% of codebases in production
Literally every software problem in the world is due to “an error in the algorithm.”
Saying that, in response to public outcry over a software problem, is 100% meaningless.
They wrote a mess of conditionals and they didn’t test it. One wonders if Stanford software engineers labor under the illusion that they’re too smart to write shitty software.
