1. Four spineless Republicans declined to vote either way for impeachment.

Kay Granger: @RepKayGranger

Greg Murphy: @RepGregMurphy

Daniel Webster: @RepWebster

Andy Harris: @RepAndyHarrisMD

2. Maryland Republican @RepAndyHarrisMD is insulting the intelligence of his constituents in this statement by saying he believes he has served them better by staying in the OR instead of voting.

He could have voted by proxy like other members did.

3. Florida Republican @RepWebster says "family medical obligations" made travel to Washington DC for the impeachment vote impossible.

Again, he could have voted by proxy like many other members did.

4. North Carolina Republican @RepGregMurphy issues a statement saying he opposes impeachment, but says that he couldn't travel to DC because he's caring for his wife who just had back surgery.

Again, he could have voted by proxy like many other members did.

5. Texas Republican @RepKayGranger was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 so that explains why she couldn't travel to DC for the impeachment vote.

But that doesn't explain why she didn't vote by proxy like many other members did.
