Extreme @mybmc policy of locking up a building of 80+ flats when 2 flats have COVID positive patients. All flats are vaccinated and affected flats are sealed. We have to live with this and @mybmc making it very difficult!

Request you to review this rule. It's not even being followed in all the wards! The affected flats have been sealed for more than a week. The cases that took us over the number are within the affected flats.

We have seniors in the city that we need to care for! We have children who need daily breath of fresh air for sanity! We have health issues that we need to visit doctors for! We have businesses that we need to run! Locking up for 15 days -Ve is just ❌

The affected parties are 2 separate houses which happen to have larger families which makes up for the more than 5 cases. Both houses have been sealed and isolated for more than a week.

There was a time when we needed the sealing and lockdown since not enough was know about the spread of the virus. Now we know enough to have strict measures in the locality. Sealing is no longer needed. 🙏🏽

Assuming that the entire building is infected when 2 flats are is ridiculous. If so, all people known to be in contact with the affected parties should also be isolated and their buildings should also be sealed off.

Sealing the building is just addressing a low hanging fruit and a bureaucratic response. As per rules, houses in the same floor as the affected houses have been tested Negative. Which means there is no spread since the last week.

our children have given up a lot during this pandemic. The little bit of sense of normalcy that we have been able to give them by letting them play downstairs (all masked) gets snatched from them everytime there are affected flats.

please, requesting you again 🙏🏼 make a policy that will allow us to keep living with this virus. How do we approach the right people for this?

Building has been sealed for fear of the virus spreading between flats. So now, bread delivery vendor is no longer allowed to each floor. This means entire building comes down for a half an hour slot to take bread. Party time in the lobby🤷🏽‍♀️ @mybmc @IqbalSinghChah2 @mybmcWardL

Biggest thanks to @mybmc @IqbalSinghChah2 @mybmcWardL for un sealing our 🙏🏽 Would like to give thanks to Imran Ansari, Dr. Mohsin Khan and Avinash Bhosale in BMC whose numbers we had and who heard us out.
