I have filed a legal claim in the UK against Cambridge Analytica/SCL under the Data Protection Act. Thank you to all those who have backed me in this effort. And special thanks to @RaviNa1k

Now that we’ve filed with the court and served the Defendants, pledge your support at  http://crowdjustice.com/case/scl  so we can #TakeBackOurVoterData because I need your help to do this.

Thrilled to announce our legal team today with the filing:

Once upon a time, someone actually read Cambridge Analytica’s privacy policy. Someone who actually knew what to look for. The rest is history.

Recently and significantly, the @CommonsCMS investigation hearings led by @DamianCollins have occasioned the Information Commissioner to clarify jurisdiction over American voter profiles in the case of Cambridge Analytica.

I’d like to thank @dgolumbia who submitted his Cambridge Analytica voter profile to our legal team and experts to help make assessments of the adequacy of the data disclosures.
Spoiler: Not adequate.

It’s appalling that House Republicans shuttered the Intel Committee’s work pre-maturely and left so many key questions about Cambridge Analytica unanswered. But thanks to my backers, we are doing our own work to #FollowTheData

It’s all happening. Buckle-up, everyone.

The crazy DR. SPECTRE story (aka Aleksandr Kogan) is all starting to unravel. This is going to be amazing, folks. Can’t make this stuff up.  http://newsroom.fb.com/news/h/suspending-cambridge-analytica/

Facebook is trying to get ahead of this narrative.  https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/the-switch/wp/2018/03/16/facebook-bans-trump-campaigns-data-analytics-firm-for-taking-user-data/

Well that escalated quickly

Stillwell worked with Kogan (and Kosinski) at University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre. He served as an expert in our legal claim in the UK. He decided not to go work with Kogan for SCL.

There is a mountain of evidence. @carolecadwalla, dogged in her pursuit, has the receipts.  https://www.theguardian.com/news/2018/mar/17/cambridge-analytica-facebook-influence-us-election
